What Vagort is

Vagort is a trip-planning tool. It builds suggested itineraries, routes, timings, travel estimates, and place information, to help you plan. It is planning assistance, not a promise: opening hours change, traffic happens, and you remain responsible for verifying details that matter to your trip (visas, tickets, hours, closures).

Booking through partners

Hotel and flight bookings happen on partner sites under the partner's own terms. Vagort is not a party to those transactions. Links may be affiliate links: we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Prices marked with ≈ are our estimates, not quotes.

Subscriptions, and what you can do without one

Vagort is a subscription app. There is no free tier. The subscription screen is the first screen, before the rest of the app, and it carries the price, the renewal terms, a restore control and these links.

Without a subscription there is no way into the app. There is no free tier and no browse-without-paying mode. The one exception is an invitation: if somebody who subscribes shares a plan with you through an invitation link, that link opens the plan and reading it is free. You can see the days, the places with their photos, ratings, opening hours and reviews, the map, and the booking links out to our partners. You cannot change any of it, and you cannot start a plan of your own.

Without a subscription you cannot change anything. Creating a plan, generating or regenerating a day, adding, removing, reordering or locking a stop, choosing a hotel, setting the pace or any other option, editing day notes and checklists, saving tonight's plan, and deleting or restoring a trip all require an active subscription. Reaching for one of them does nothing except bring the subscription screen back.

Vagort Pro is sold and billed by the app store you bought it from, under that store's terms, and it renews automatically. Where the store offers you an introductory free trial, the purchase screen says so, with the length of the trial, the price that follows it, and the period; unused trial time is forfeited when you buy a subscription. The subscription renews at the price shown unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Start, manage and cancel it in your store account, or from Menu, Subscription inside the app.

Refunds

Payment is taken by Apple or Google, never by us, so refunds are theirs to give. Ask the store that charged you: Apple's Report a Problem page, or your order history in the Play Store. Cancelling stops the next charge, it does not refund the period you are in, and the subscription keeps working until that period ends. Where local law gives you a right to withdraw from a purchase, that right is against the store as seller of record.

Starting straight away

Vagort Pro works the moment you subscribe. There is nothing to download and nothing to wait for, so by subscribing you are asking us to start performing immediately. Once you have built a trip, you have had the thing the subscription is for, and you no longer have a right to withdraw from that period. This does not limit anything the store decides: if Apple or Google chooses to refund you, they will, and we do not get a say in it.

Accounts

An account is optional and separate from the subscription: it exists so your trips and memories can be backed up and opened on another phone. Sign in with an emailed code, or with Apple, Google or Facebook. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app, and the deletion is immediate and permanent. Deleting an account does not cancel a subscription, because the subscription belongs to your store account, not to us. What is stored and what leaves your device is set out in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service, no scraping at scale, no attempting to disrupt the app or its data providers, no using Vagort content to build a competing dataset.

What you post, and zero tolerance

Vagort has zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive behaviour. Anything you attach to a place is published to other travellers, and posting it means you have the right to and that it is yours to share. Do not post anything hateful, violent, sexual, illegal, deceptive, or aimed at harassing or impersonating a person. Do not post anything that infringes somebody else's copyright.

Every post carries a report control, and reporting is anonymous: the person you report is never told who reported them. We read every report within 24 hours and remove anything that breaks the rules above. Accounts that keep breaking them are suspended, and accounts used mainly to abuse other people are closed without warning. You can also block any traveller, in which case nothing they post reaches you again; blocking is private to you, it is not announced to them, and you can undo it at any time from your profile. Removal decisions are ours to make and we make them on the content, not on who posted it.

Warranty & liability

Vagort is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including missed connections, closed attractions, or booking issues on partner sites.

Who operates Vagort

Vagort is operated by Wermom Technologies Inc, which is also the copyright holder named on the App Store listing. Everything, including legal notices, reaches us at hello@vagort.app. One address on purpose: a second one published here would be a second mailbox somebody has to watch, and a legal contact that nobody reads is worse than not having published one.

Changes & contact

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means acceptance. Questions: hello@vagort.app.
